Attack Tree Modeling of Distributed Denial of Service Attack

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) brings seriously threat to the security of network. Carnegie Mellon University develops attack tree modeling of network attack to describe attack information by a structured and reusable way. The paper introduces this technique, proposes the attack tree and attack tree model of DDoS and analyzes its reusability. Some methods are discussed about now to utilize the model to improve the security of network. The security analysis and designers can use it to develop more security information system.
