Research on the Model of Drilling Knowledge Base System for Drilling Optimization Based on Ontology

The focus on the research and development of knowledge base system on drilling optimization was to establish its knowledge base modeling. The principle and goal of the research were to establish the knowledge model constituted by the domain knowedge and reasoning knowledge and task knowledge on drilling optimization, and to integrate all kinds of modern information technologies, and taking full advantage of the real-time, static, dynamic data on drilling engineering. The ontology is the hard core for constructing the integration system. The research of drilling knowledge base system model for drilling optimization based on ontology is a feasible approach in implementing scientific decision-making and management, reducing drilling cost, improving drilling economic benefit.
