Application and prospects of GIS in Shanghai Power Grid

The application of the Gas Insulated Switchgear(GIS) in Shanghai Power Grid is introduced,and failures occurred on the GIS in Shanghai are analyzed and summarized.The requirements of manufacture quality improvement for GIS,and of its detection technology development are put forward.The future application of GIS in Shanghai Power Grid is also prospected.
