Edge Detection Based on Wedgelet Transform

Edge feature is very important to images. In order to extract edges perfectly, an approach to multiscale image analysis′ are described which the authors call Wedgelet analysis. Wedgelet is localized scale/location/orientation, on dyadically-organized line segments. Experiments show that the new method extracts edge better in the CT images.
