Application of MAX686 in LCD

LCD has been widely applied to display system. As a main part of LCD, the supply circuit directly controls the driving circuit level of LCD. The level of supply affects the grey scale and contrast of LCD. The application of MAX686 in LCD is introduced. MAX686 can produce the positive or negative LCD bias supply according to the demand of LCD model. It has a flexible application. It has an internal 6-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for digital adjustment of the output voltage. As a result, it is convenient to adjust the output voltage using software or hardware. MAX686 offers high-level integration to save space, reduce power consumption, and increase battery life, making it an excellent choice for battery-powered portable equipment.
