Developing Schemes of Pick-up Points for E-commerce Parcels

Based on literature reviews,delivery processes via pick-up system were proposed for e-commerce respectively.The advantages and disadvantages of potential investors were investigated including logistics enterprise,e-commerce enterprise,third-party enterprise,enterprise alliance.Four operating patterns were introduced inluding logistics branch,special pick-up point,attended collection and delivery point,unattended collection and delivery point.Meanwhile,a principle named PSCC for choosing proper pattern of pick-up point was suggested and three kinds of exploration targets were summarized for attended collection and delivery point.Finally,possible profit models for pick-up system were designed.
