Software defect prediction based on defect analysis plays an important role in analysis of software quality, balance of software cost and management of development progress. Traditionally mean cost is used to calculate the total cost of defect removing, ignoring that defects of different kinds require different removing cost. Based on organization history project database, and the matrix of development stages and defect types, the paper puts forward a statistical and parametarized method.
