Development and Application of the Component-GIS Based on DotSpatial

Under the developing environment of C# and component technology,combining with Visual Studio 2010 as a system interface development and calculation module programming tool and developing secondly by DotSpatial components,the paper finished the Expressway of Hainan Province Expansive Soil Management Information System initially based on open source GIS,it implemented the functions of Expansive Soil Map of Hainan Province Highway,such as map browsing and editing, information query, data management, spatial analysis, and so on, the visual effect is intuitive and efficient.Thereby,it provides the basis for the management of the engineering construction, expansive soil disasters prevention, early warning decision-making.
