Modeling and Implementation of Beijing GISC System

For the realization of target of GISC(Global Information System Center) in the WIS,the design model about Beijing GISC basis functions software is proposed based on service oriented architecture,relying on the existing WMO global telecommunication system(GTS),expand the service mode through metadata discovery,access and retrieval,and provide timely and flexible data.System implements all kinds of WIS data real-time push/pull,provides metadata directory navigation,data discovery,access,retrieval,and subscription,and uniform access portal to provide a more humanized operation.Beijing GISC becomes one of the world's first 3 centers passing WMO evaluation and testing,and has put into business operation in August 2011.
