Using MINA to Develop High-performance Network Application——Taking Example of Openfire3.3.3 which Implements XMPP Protocol

First,the XMPP(Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol) protocol, open source project Openfire and MINA(Multi-purpose Infrastructure for Network Applications) infrastructure are briefly introduces.Then,the way Openfire uses the framework of MINA is researched,especially the important part of Openfire 3.3.3 in which MINA implements is analyzed in detail,thus,the conclusion that using MINA framework can easily develop high-performance network application is reached.Finally,an analyzed summary of MINA and the prospect is concluded.
