EFFECTS OF CHEMICAL MODIFICATION ON PROPERTIES OF DEFATTED SOY FLOUR (II)
Ke Bian · Journal of Zhengzhou Institute of Technology · 2004
Adhesiveness and water resistance of soybean glue based on defatted soy flour modified with acylating reagent A,B,cross-linking reagent and surfactant were discussed. The results indicated that hot-pressing improved the adhesive strength, and the adhesive strength and water resistance of the glue modified with acylating reagent B and cross-linking agent could be significantly improved. The wood glued by the 6% defatted soy flour which had been modified at 55℃ by 10% acylating reagent B for 60 min which was suspended had the highest adhesive strength (26.8kg/cm~2) after soaking in water for 24 h. And the wood glued by the 8% defatted soy flour which had been modified at 40℃, by 20% volume of defatted soy flour' weight cross-linking reagent of 2.5% 30 min which was suspended ( pH 6.5 ) had the highest adhesive strength (26.0kg/cm~2) after soaking in water for 24 h.
