Steganalysis Based on Hypothesis Testing

This paper proposes a novel steganalysis scheme based on hypothesis testing.The scheme views the problem of detection the hidden data as binary hypothesis testing and uses hidden Markov tree(HMT) model to estimate the priori probability density of original image.The scheme is applied to detect multiplicative spread spectrum steganography and experimental results indicate the superiority of the HMT based detector than i.i.d based detector.
