Speckle Denoising Algorithm Based on Statistic Characteristic and Structural Analysis

Because of so many pixels in one SAR image,a lot of time is needed to de-speckle,even though space de-speckling algorithms can be used. But in many practical applications,it is a big problem. In this paper,we propose a new method based on statistic characteristic and structural analysis. The image will be classified as target region and uniformity region,then edge-aligned sub-windows will be used for the former,while window expand algorithm and block processing will be used for the latter. Experimental result shows the algorithm can reduce the number of windows which participate in computing and quicken the processing.
