LMDS Broadband Wireless Access Technology and its applications

LMDS is a broadband wireless access technology . This technology fully utilizes frequency resources not being exploited , and merges into advanced technologies successfully used in other communication domain to realize greater frequency spectrum availability, plenty service access capabilities and even more flexible bandwidth allocation. The idea of LMDS, the technical principle and characters, the architecture, advantages, drawbacks and applications about the system wre presented in this paper.
