Research and Design of Intelligent Tachometer in Industry Based on ARM Technology

During researching power system automation,it is highly important to measure the rotate speed of electromotors or axletrees fleetly and accurately.A high-accuracy and multifunctional tachometer based on ARM chip LPC2119 is developed for monitoring electromotor rotation speed.Main contents in this paper are to expound the design principle and main function.The system hardware and architecture and the software configuration are given especially.In order to communicate with PC and meet the intelligentized need of industry,it was networked by RS485 or CAN bus technology.Consequently,this device plays an important role in the real system and accquires a good experiment result.
