Blind parameters extraction of frequency-hopping signals based on reassignment SPWVD

A new method for extracting the parameters of unknown Frequency Hopping(FH) signal is proposed based on reassignment SPWVD.This method can exactly extract and estimate the parameters of non-cooperative FH signals such as hopping frequencies,hop duration and hop timing without knowing any priori knowledge.This paper introduces the basic principle of reassignment time-frequency analysis,compares analysis results of FH signals using WVD,SPWVD and MSPWVD,and designs the parameter extracting algorithm based on MSPWVD.Exact extracting results have been obtained by computer simulating and good performances of this algorithm are shown through analyzing the results.
