AbstrcatIn this paper, the evaluation metrics of the pair-wise key management in wireless sensor network is discussed. Firstly, because of the difference between the traditional network and wireless sensor network, the constraints in wireless sensor network, which influence the design of key management schemes in that environment are introduced. Then the evaluation metrics about pair-wise key management schemes is presented. Finally, the kinds of pair-wise key management schemes are analyzed and compared according to the evaluation metrics proposed in this paper. By these analysis, a proper pair-wise key management scheme for different situation can be chosen.
