On the Legal Responsibilities of On-line Suppliers in Network Transmission

The legal responsibilities of network service suppliers remain under debate. In the global context, the legal responsibilities of on-line suppliers concerning copyrights are explicitly stated. In China Copyright Law, which has taken into account the protection of network-related copyrights, lays specifications for the violation of copyrights in network transmission. This is an issue that has to be addressed from the different points of view of law and information technology.
