The decision-making support system for the water supply network in Xi'an is developed with advanced computer technology,network technology,communication technology,geographical information technology,decision-making support technology.Based on Visual Basic 6.0,the system is highly integrated with the soft wares,such as SQL Server,MapInfo and Matlab etc.,and then can realize all the functions concerned for the decision-making and management i.e.searching and retrieving,statistic analysis,map scanning and editing,water-consumption forecasting,network macroscopic simulation,optimization for network control,visualization of hydraulic and water-quality data,accident treatment,information issuing,system management,online help and so on.
