Retrieving XML document by DOM library

Document object model (DOM) is a set of platform-independence and language-independence interfaces, and it is the basis of the implementation of XML document. First, the status and trend of XML's applications were discussed, and the DOM library embed in advanced programs was used to analyse an XML document, and at last a source program designed with VB 6.0 was presented to retrieve data from an XML document by the DOM-based tree
