Simulation of Wireless Channel Access Protocol Based on OPNET

The network model is constructed by using the node model of OPNET software which supports the CSMA/CA protocol based on the research on the protocol of CSMA/CA and ALOHA.With the results of simulation,the throughput characteristic map of CSMA/CA protocol is drawn by using Mathematica software.The comparisons between the throughput characteristic map of the protocol of ALOHA and CSMA/CA show that CSMA/CA has better performance comparing with ALOHA at any case of total traffic load.The feasibility of the network optimization performance is proved by configuring network parameters on the premise of ensuring the throughout performance,the relationship between network parameters and the uniqueness of network optimization parameters are indicated.
