Design of the RF Frequency Synthesizer Based on AD9956

The AD9956 is the newest AgileRFTM synthesizer chip,which has high speed,high resolution,high sweeping rate,and has different configurable circuits.At first,the general principle of DDS technique is briefly summarized in the paper.The mixed frequency synthetic technology of DDS+PLL and the fractional-divider frequency technology are discussed.Then,the structure,function and work model of chip AD9956 are introduced.Finally the structure of circuit of fractional-divider synthesizer is also given.And the RF frequency synthesizer with high precision is designed based on these technologies.
