Design of Database Connection Model Based on Three-tier Architecture

The access to database is an important issue during the development of three-tier application system.In this paper,a database connection model based on three-tier architecture is brought out to realize the transparency of access to database and the security of database connection information.The model resolves the transparent communication issue between the client and database,using the COM+ component service and MSMQ component.Test shows that a three-tier application system,which is based on this model,get better expansibility,maintainability,reliability and performance.
