Realization and Application of MPICH on Windows OS

In this paper MPICH software package and its configuration with Windows OS and realization in MS VC++ are introduced. Also the basic programming method of MPI/C/C++ is listed here. Then combined with the method of Finite-Difference Time-Domain of electric and magnetic field, through discussing an 1-D example, the implementation method for parallel computation on FDTD is given. At last running on a simplest PC cluster consisting of two PCs, the feasibility and high efficiency are shown. The result indicates that the scalability of parallel FDTD is near to 1.8 when it is implemented with MPICH package.
