The GIS systems are widely used in meteorological field nowadays. After expatiated the use of GIS in Meteorological field,discussed the meteorological Information system on The Basis of GIS. The results indicate that the use of GIS in Meteorological field can effectively improve the degree of Meteorological data managing and the function of man-machine conversation.
