Channel estimation based on fractal resampling with considering the statistical characters in WCDMA

In order to overcome the depth-fading,this paper introduces fractal theory into the research of multipath fading channels.Utilizing the characteristics of channel multiplexing in WCDMA,this paper establishes a novel channel estimation scheme using fractal resampling,by considering the prior condition that multi-path fading obeys the Raleigh or Rice distribution.Simulation results indicate that this method can estimate the channel parameters more accurately than conventional methods in both rapid and slow terminal moving cases,high speed especially.
