Database design for E-Store commerce system

This paper discusses the structure of a database for e-store commerce system. First it presents the business processes needed by the e-store system and its associated data in each stage. Then discusses the logical components of a typical e-store database system. Finally, it illustrates a detailed design of an e-store commerce transaction processing system and comments on a few design considerations specific to e-store database systems, such as the primary key, foreign key, use of weak entity, and using filegroups.
