Research on ontology language and OWL of semantic web

With the change of the internet application model and shock of a large amount of web information the research on the individualization and intellectualization of the web information is in a constantly deep-going way.The semantic web is planned to extend current WWW,expected to navigate retrieving information resources,to improve the intellectualization of the network services and to help machines work cooperatively with the people automatically,through the semantic content added to the web information.For the time being the semantic web is still an ideal model,but the tentative effort has been made in merging semantic web into the present web structure to develop the information intelligence.Further more,with the research on the ontology technology going deeper and deeper,theory and application explorations in OWL and ontology are valued in wider and wider range.
