The Hainan typhoon disaster command management systems based on WebGIS

Typhoon-related disasters are severe in Hainan. There is, however, a lack of integration of command and decision support to protect the province from typhoon disasters. This study proposed and designed an effective response to typhoon disaster and command information systems based on WebGIS. The goals are to achieve the integration of Hainan typhoon disasters in comprehensive information and decision-making scheduling, to realize information technology and visual integration, and to associate it with the wind disaster monitoring and early warning, management of the engineering conditions, plan management, windbreak materials management, rescue teams, disaster statistics, and other functions. The systematic and comprehensive information is supplied, and fine scheduling, scientific decision-making method and means for wind command and management departments are provided.
