A New Database Model of Off line Handwritten Chinese Characters and Its Applications

A new database model of off line handwritten Chinese characters is proposed.The new model not only contains the samples of Chinese characters,but also contains the information of their writers.So it can provide the learning and testing samples for developing the recognizing algorithm,meanwhile it also can be used for researching the writing features of different people.HCL2000,a database developed according to this model,is discussed.
