Verification of “Two triangle” Hypothesis in Grammar Study

The study of the Chinese grammar requires static analysis as well as dynamic analysis. The verification of the two-triangle hypothesis is the most basic way of dynamic analysis. This article discusses the problems involved by analyzing the linguistic facts in the standard dialect of modern Chinese. It mainly deals with the following three aspects: 1) the small triangle and its verification; 2) the big triangle and its verification; and 3) the integration of the two triangles.
