Characteristic Extracting for Bill's Fibrin Based on Extremum Filtering and OTSU

In order to solve the problem of characteristic extracting for bill's fibrin, a new characteristic extracting method for bill's fibrin based on extremum filtering and OTSU is proposed in this paper.Extremum filtering is used to enhance characteristic of fibrin and integrate the complex background.And the optimal OTSU algorithm is proposed to partition the image of bill and extract characteristic of fibrin.The experiment shows the good effect and fast speed of this method, and its consistency performance is above 91%.
