Constraint-Based MiniCon Algorithm

Query rewriting is a basic problem in database research.It is closely related to query optimization,maintenance of physical data independence,data integration and data warehousing and decision support.MiniCon algorithm is a kind of flexible and effective query rewriting algorithm.After studying the MiniCon algorithm,this paper presents a Constraint-Based MiniCon Algorithm.The problems of missing query rewritings or generating redundant query rewritings in MiniCon Algorithm are solved.It improves the soundness and completeness of MiniCon algorithm.
