Research on the Application of Distributed Computing in NGN

This paper analyses the application of distributed computing in NGN architecture and its subsystem device. The architecture of existing softswitch and gateway is analyzed, whose features are also presented. An innovative design of softswitch is given in this paper. Based on distributed computing function model, the design of a telecommunicationgrade high capacity trunk and media gateway is given in this paper as well.
