Configuration protocol for wireless mobile gateway

As one of the development trend of next generation Internet,it is necessary for mobile Internet to support not only the mobile gateways but also the small or medium scale mobile networks.Therefore,the efficient configuration and service policy have become the key technologies of mobile gateways.A hierarchical configuration protocol based on the thought of MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is proposed to split the mobile gateways into clusters and integrate the clusters into Internet by the connection of cluster heads and mobile gateways.Furthermore,three kinds of service strategies are proposed and analyzed through the simulation experiments.The experimental results indicate that the performance of the proposed protocol and service strategies can satisfy the requirements of mobile networks efficiently.
