Noise Removal of SAR Image Based on Improved Wavelet Soft-Thresholding Method

Speckle is ineluctable in the SAR image. It is the research focus that the speckle is removed or restrained as much as possible on the premise that spacial resolution is not reduced. In this paper, a new method where wavelet technique can be used in SAR image better and simpler is introduced. At first , logarithm transform of SAR image is carried, and multiplicative noisy is transformed into additive one, then wavelet de-noising is carried out.
