Prospect and review on the chaotic phenomena in engineering and applications of chaos

Chaos exists widely in nature. The chaotic phenomena in engineering and theapplications of chaos have recently been attracting attention in the nonlinear dynamics literatures. Some chaotic phenomena, the main research progress of the applications of chaos and the prospect in the near future are outlined in this paper.
