Failure Analyzing for Excitation Transformer in the Oversea Project

The power station system, often due to excitation transformer failure is difficult to meet the requirements of overseas power plant operating hours. By studying the temperature rise curve of excitation transformer on the large hydroelectric overseas, this paper submits some of the manufacturering problems, takes certain measures to check maintain the excitation transformer when the hydraulic generator is in the case of the high number of operating hours. The method is simple, convenient effective in test result. For other projects overseas, the above mentioned methods can be taken as reference.
