An approach for mathematical programming with fuzzy rules and its engineering applications
Yong Xi · Journal of Beijing University of Chemical Technology · 2014
This paper suggests that fuzzy rules can be extracted from historical data to construct a rule base, and subsequently be used to formulate a mathematical programming model with fuzzy rule constraints. Sugeno inference arithmetic is recommended to establish fuzzy mapping systems in the context of decision variables, which serve as equality constraints of the mathematical programming. Subsequently,a genetic algorithm combined with fuzzy inference is introduced to solve the corresponding problems. The resulting mathematical programming model with fuzzy rules has been applied in a distillation column steady-state optimization problem, and the effectiveness of the proposed approache has been demonstrated.
