Research on Content-Based Image Retrieval Technology

In this paper,we survey the recent techniques of CBIR from the two key issues: image feature extraction and image feature matching,and compare different technologies.Then we discuss the technical achievements of image retrieval in compressed domain.Finally,some promising research directions are suggested.
