Using the Corner Points of an Image to Compute Its Moment Invariants

This paper proposes a method which computes the moments of a shape using only its corner pixels, and derives the closed form of lower order moments. Finally, an algorithm for computing the moment invariants proposed by M K Hu is presented This algorithm computes the same set of moment invariants, but reduces computations tremendously
