Application of SQL Server Stored Procedure in Delphi

Dephi has powerful functions on the Database development, however, the database application system can not gain high performance if the database components provided by Delphi are used to develop application directly. The performance efficiency of the application can be improved, if we use the stored procedure in Dephi. This paper mainly introduces the virtues of using stored procedure in the DBMS based on Client/Server structure developed by Dephi and the methods which are used to call the stored procedure by Dephi in SQL Server 2000. And then it presents the processes and methods of calling the stored procedure dynamically by some examples.
