Application of GIS in Farmland Grading

Farmland grade is a basic index to evaluate the quality of farmland.It's also the basis of making standards of landuse tax,land compensation fee and land tenancy fee.Powerful function in data input,management,querry,analysis and output of GIS provide new method and technology for farmland grading.Taking Sihui of Guangdong province as a case city,this paper discussed the application of GIS in farmland grading.
