Research on a kind of HTTP-based application layer VPN

Aim To save the waste of resources and reduce the cost of deployment.Methods Transport data through local network directly without the interference of VPN service;Kerberos authentication mechanism is introduced to protect communication.Results Edge network resources are facilitated greatly,the load of VPN service is reduced,the response time of VPN service is improved.Conclusion A prototype system of software-based VPN is implemented,building VPN on HTTP is proved to be feasible,in addition,no special VPN device is required,and the cost of deployment is reduced.
