Design and Implementation of Wireless Network Topology Discover

In the subway wireless communication system,wireless communication equipment STA installed in the train switches among AP beside the track frequently with the fast-moving train,therefore,to discovery the topology of their network timely and accurately becomes a difficult of network management.To address this difficulty,it can make the STA report the topology between AP and STA to the management station initiatively when the STA associates with different AP by extending the trap mechanism of the SNMP agent in STA,at the same time,management station receives the trap using API provided by AdventNet SNMP.Tests show that this mechanism could discover the topology between AP and STA timely and accurately,so it provides important safeguards for the effective management and maintenance of the subway wireless communication system.
