Second generation wavelet transform and its application in fault diagnosis

Second generation wavelet transform is a kind of time -domain transform method based on lifting scheme,the principle of the second generation transform is described,the selecting scheme of predictor and updater is discussed,and on this basis apply the second generation wavelet transform to the fault diagnosis of the mine ventilator.The results show that this scheme can decompose the signal and extract the fault information effectively,having good application prospect in fault diagnosis of mine machinery.
