Performance evaluation of the Sysmex XE-2100 automated hematology analyzer

Objective To evaluate of the performance of the Sysmex XE-2100 automated hematology analyzer.Methods The evaluation was performed by using guidelines established in the International Committee for Standard-ization Haematology(ICSH) document.Precision,linearity,carryover,and the discover rate of morphologic abnormalities were analyzed.Results The precision and carryover were lower than the design demand,and the linearity were enough for clinical demand.The results of differentials were excellent correlation with manual.The specificity for morphologic abnormalities was 0.963,and sensitivity was 0.979.Conclusion The performance of the Sysmex XE-2100 automated hematology analyzer is adequate for clinical demand.
