Study of image compression on wireless communication area

According to the image transferring and displaying characteristics in wireless communication area,especially in cellular phone communication area,the PNG file format and its encoding process is analyzed and a scheme of optimization to the encoding process of PNG image type is proposed.Through the optimization performance comparison with OptiPng,Pngout,Pngrewrite and AdvPng,the optimization shows its features as high compression rate and high applicability.
