The key to the fault diagnosis is to find a method to make the diagnosis more accurate.As a new fault diagnosis method,NN(neural network) is becoming more and more popular.However,it is difficult for the single and traditional neural network to give ideal results to the complex system,so in this paper,the using patterns of neural network and other methods in fault diagnosis are mainly concluded.These patterns involving neural network and expert system,fuzzy neural network,wavelet neural network,genetic algorithm neural network and integrated neural network etc.These methods based on neural network have successfully used in practice.
