Aggregation implementation on MOLAP dimensions with hierarchies

With the extensive application and development of database technology,some new technologies such as data warehouse and online analytical processing are employed in practice gradually.However,most research and applications focus on relational online analytical processing,whereas little work on multidimensional online analytical processing is done.The dimension aggregation is an important issue but it is difficult to address due to the hierarchies.It is introduced the methods and steps of the aggregation implementation on multidimensional online analytical processing's dimensions with hierarchies.Based on the analysis,the design of the algorithms and classes is presented.The algorithms are validated using real cases.
